Volunteer Engagement Executive

About the role

The Volunteer Engagement Executive will lead the design, implementation, and management of volunteer programs for World Vision Indonesia. This role serves as the primary touch‑point for volunteers, fostering strong relationships and ensuring meaningful participation across national and area‑level initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and launch volunteer programs at both national and area‑program levels.
• Promote a wide range of volunteer opportunities and maintain an up‑to‑date volunteer database.
• Organise events and activities in collaboration with Resource Development & Communications and other departments.
• Act as the single point of contact for volunteer communications, orientation, appreciation events, and ongoing support.
• Facilitate recruitment, selection, performance evaluation, and recognition of volunteers.
• Maintain guidelines, standards, and best‑practice documentation for volunteer programs.
• Coordinate with external partners to expand volunteer sourcing and program variety.
• Support emergency response efforts by mobilising volunteers as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in developing and managing volunteer or community‑engagement programs.
• Strong ability to collaborate with multiple internal units and external partners.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to guide and motivate volunteers.
• Capacity to plan and execute events that enhance volunteer retention.
