Mechanical Technician – Leasing (Jakarta)

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Technician specialized in leasing operations to join our maintenance team in Jakarta. The role focuses on ensuring that all mechanical assets are kept in optimal condition while complying with safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance without disrupting production or affecting the environment.
• Apply company safety policies and adhere to local health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the workshop and company facilities.
• Supervise external vendors when maintenance tasks are outsourced.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and work instructions (WI) for all tasks.
• Execute work orders on schedule, ensuring high quality and proper tool usage.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues, request and close safety work permits, and replace spare parts according to standards.
• Document daily activities and report any incidents.

Required profile

• Diploma with 3‑5 years or Bachelor’s degree with 1‑2 years of experience in mechanical, fabrication or machinery engineering.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills and a strong safety mindset.

Required skills

• Mechanical troubleshooting and repair of pumps, valves, and piping.
• Interpretation of technical drawings, PID schematics, and measurement tools.
• Basic welding and grinding (preferred).
• Safe operation of hand and power tools.
• Understanding of safety work permit procedures.
