First Line Manager – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

At Nestlé we unlock the power of food to improve lives. We are seeking a First Line Manager for our Panjang Factory in Lampung, Indonesia to lead manufacturing excellence, safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead safety, health, environmental and food‑safety compliance across production operations.
• Achieve production targets through effective operational planning and execution.
• Drive line efficiency, productivity improvement and asset optimisation initiatives.
• Manage workforce performance, capability building, employee engagement and coaching.
• Support continuous‑improvement programmes such as Nestlé Continuous Excellence, TPM, Lean and problem‑solving.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, SHE, HR, Supply Chain and other stakeholders to deliver operational excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in FMCG or food & beverage.
• Proven experience leading and developing production teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving and continuous‑improvement capability.
