Industrial Services Executive Engineer – Utilities

About the role

As an Industrial Services Engineer you will ensure effective management and operation of the factory’s industrial services, supporting reliable, efficient, compliant and cost‑effective generation and distribution of essential utilities such as steam, refrigeration, water and effluent treatment, hygienic air handling and compressed air. You will report directly to the Factory Engineer.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the industrial services team has required competencies and manage competency assessments and development plans.
• Plan, design, modify and improve industrial services plants, equipment and infrastructure, coordinating with qualified third parties.
• Support operation of utilities to achieve high efficiency, quality and compliance, and identify energy‑ and water‑saving opportunities.
• Assist with budgeting, cost monitoring and manage quality, environmental, statutory and internal compliance.
• Ensure safety throughout design, installation, operation, inspection and auditing of industrial services plants and equipment.
• Collaborate with Factory Engineering, Production, SH&E, PM Pillar team, technical suppliers, local authorities and utility providers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum three years experience in industrial services engineering, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Experience operating or supervising boilers, fired‑pressure or large combustion systems.
• Industrial refrigeration and ammonia system experience for large distributed ammonia plants.
• Knowledge of local regulatory, statutory and environmental requirements.
• Understanding of asset maintenance, TPM methodology and continuous improvement.
