District Monitoring, Evaluation & Quality Improvement Officer – Maros

About the role

PATH is seeking a District Monitoring, Evaluation, and Quality Improvement (M&E & QI) Officer to support the Phase 2 implementation of the Primary Health Care Transformation project in Maros District, South Sulawesi. The officer will coordinate district‑level monitoring, evaluation, learning and continuous quality improvement activities, ensuring timely data collection and robust documentation to inform scale‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute district‑level M&E and QI activities in collaboration with the National M&E Specialist and Project Coordinator.
• Lead data collection, management, and analysis from both qualitative and quantitative sources.
• Engage with puskesmas, sub‑partners and other entities to ensure accurate and timely data submission.
• Facilitate continuous quality improvement sessions, including preparing agendas and materials for pause‑and‑reflect meetings.
• Document key learnings and impact assessments to support project scaling.

Required profile

• Experience working in public health programs, preferably in primary health care settings.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to synthesize data for decision‑making.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Commitment to health equity and inclusive hiring practices.
