Market Manager

About the role

Hitachi Energy is looking for a Market Manager in Jakarta. The role gives you in-depth knowledge of the specific market so you can give clients the best products, and plays a key part in business growth, customer satisfaction and building a team or function. It is a full-time, on-site position.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the agreed sales strategy and budget, identify suitable channels and targets, and help harmonize market sales and marketing plans
• Contribute to key targets (volume, prices, mix) in the market, create detailed business plans and follow them up regularly
• Take part in sales negotiations, negotiate frame agreements and create offers and proposals
• Identify the Business Growth Initiative, work with Marketing and Sales, run channel/segment partner activities and implement communication, promotion and training
• Support strategic partnerships and build relationships with partners, customers and other decision makers
• Organise the area of responsibility, coach and develop direct and indirect subordinates, and promote knowledge sharing and collaboration
• Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field
• Minimum 10 years of experience
• Experience in automation sales and in a people manager role
• Customer-focused, effective communicator, flexible and able to work in a team
• Systemic thinking
• Fluency in English
