Oncology Account Specialist (Jakarta)

About the role

AstraZeneca is looking for an Oncology Account Specialist in Jakarta to develop its territory and build strong customer relationships, with the aim of maximising sales volume and market share of oncology products. Depending on experience, the position may be filled at the Medical Representative, Senior Medical Representative or Oncology Account Specialist level.

Key responsibilities

• Implement sales strategy and tactics, including the plan of action (POA), in line with company policy
• Monitor territory sales performance regularly and act to keep it on track
• Analyse the market and competitors to identify business opportunities
• Develop the territory business plan based on the POA, allocate resources such as call activities and budget, and monitor it
• Take part in sales programmes to raise product awareness and update customer segmentation, databases and call records
• Expand the customer base according to SFE guidelines and deliver key promotional messages in approved detail aids
• Build trust with customers while acting professionally under the AZ Code of Conduct
• Submit monthly reports on deviations from the business plan and intended corrective actions
• Take part in sales meetings, product and sales training, and act as a mentor or coach for less experienced representatives

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in any field, preferably science-related
• Sales experience, especially in the oncology therapy area
• High level of drive and determination
• Desirable: insight into patient and customer journeys, strategic thinking, agility and the ability to influence and inspire others
