Education Consultant – Jakarta

About the role

A full-time Education Consultant position based in Jakarta, advising students and parents on overseas study options, particularly Australian study visas. The role covers admissions support, scholarship applications, career counselling and visa guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and personalised educational plans, including visa consultation and application guidance.
• Assist with college and university admissions, scholarship applications, career counselling and visa processes.
• Keep up to date with education trends and learning methodologies.
• Collaborate with educators and institutions on academic programmes.
• Build relationships with international, local and third-party organisations linked to Australian study visa applications.
• Handle online and offline client enquiries professionally.
• Run marketing activities by visiting third-party education organisations and strengthen social media promotion.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• At least 3 years of experience in the international education industry, either with an education agency or as a representative of an overseas educational institution in Indonesia.
• English at minimum IELTS 6.0; Indonesian around 70% usage; Mandarin is an advantage.
• Customer-centric approach, solid understanding of marketing and digital marketing, and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Willingness to be placed in Jakarta.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems is highly preferred.
• Marketing principles, digital channels, social media and digital advertising.
• Strong communication, teamwork, research and attention to detail.
