Senior Associate – Advisory Deals & Business Recovery

About the role

PwC Indonesia is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Advisory Deals – Business Recovery Services team. You will work with clients facing financial distress, helping them navigate complex restructuring and recovery initiatives while delivering strategic value.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice and solutions to optimise recovery outcomes for distressed clients.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and restructuring engagements within the Business Recovery Services practice.
• Analyse financial data, industry trends and client situations to develop actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex business problems from strategy through execution.
• Review work for quality, accuracy and relevance, ensuring compliance with PwC’s standards and ethics.
• Mentor junior staff, delegating tasks to create stretch opportunities and drive results.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting from a recognised university.
• Minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale.
• Proficient knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities.
