Claim Handler – Motor Express

About the role

As a Claim Handler for Motor Express at Zurich Indonesia, you will investigate, evaluate and settle low‑complexity personal or commercial motor claims. The role focuses on delivering efficient, customer‑centric service while adhering to established protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Capture and update claim data in compliance with best practices for low‑complexity motor claims.
• Determine liability by gathering facts and confirming policy coverage.
• Assess damages, establish timely reserves within authority limits, and work towards prompt claim resolution.
• Communicate proactively with customers, respond to inquiries and follow customer service protocols.
• Manage expenses by coordinating with approved vendors and external contractors.
• Ensure legal compliance, refer cases to sub‑rogation or fraud teams when needed, and maintain confidentiality of claim information.

Required profile

• Minimum 2‑3 years experience handling motor or vehicle insurance claims.
• D3 (or equivalent) education, preferably with a technical background.
• Understanding of motor vehicle engines and mechanics.
• Familiarity with motor claim processes and risk analysis.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑centric attitude.
