Product Manager - HR Technology

About the role

Astra, an HR technology company, is looking for a strategic, customer-obsessed Product Manager to join its growing product team. You will own the product roadmap for key product areas and work with engineering, design, data and business stakeholders to deliver user experiences and measurable results. The role reports to the Chief Product Officer / VP of Product, is based in Jakarta (hybrid) and suits someone with 3-7 years of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Define and communicate a product vision and maintain a prioritized roadmap based on strategic value and user needs
• Run discovery through user interviews, usability testing, surveys and data analysis, and define and track north star metrics and KPIs
• Write detailed PRDs, user stories and acceptance criteria, and partner with engineering and design to deliver features on time
• Facilitate sprint planning and backlog grooming, and make trade-off decisions under uncertainty
• Communicate plans and progress to leadership and gather balanced input from sales, marketing, customer success and executives
• Monitor post-launch performance with analytics tools, iterate on feedback and document lessons learned

Required profile

• 3-7 years of product management experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or HR tech
• Proven track record of shipping user-facing products from discovery to launch
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data
• Excellent written and verbal English
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with HR technology, recruitment or talent management platforms
• Familiarity with agile/scrum and tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, Mixpanel or Amplitude
• Background in UX research or design thinking
• MBA or equivalent degree
