Internal Audit Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for an Internal Audit Supervisor to lead operational audits for savings and deposit account openings at Bank Universal BPR. The role ensures compliance with KYC requirements, internal SOPs, and banking regulations while safeguarding data integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee operational audits related to the opening of savings and deposit accounts, ensuring full compliance with KYC and internal SOPs.
• Supervise and verify the transaction call‑back process to detect anomalies, mitigate fraud risks, and maintain data integrity.
• Review monthly reports for conformity with the general ledger and bookkeeping records to guarantee financial accuracy.
• Manage inspection of credit files and conduct on‑site assessments of debtors to evaluate collateral validity and creditworthiness.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports for management and monitor the implementation of corrective actions by audited departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from a reputable university.
• 3–5 years of experience in banking internal audit, including at least 1–2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Deep understanding of banking operations, front‑to‑back office processes, and relevant regulations (OJK/BI).
• Strong analytical thinking, high integrity, and excellent report‑writing abilities.
