Compensation Consulting Manager, Career Services

About the role

Mercer is looking for a Compensation Consulting Manager for its Jakarta office. You will use your expertise and thought leadership to deliver significant change for clients across a wide range of HR-related projects, acting as a trusted advisor to client senior management such as HR Directors and CEOs.

Key responsibilities

• Build trusted advisory relationships with client senior management and act as a liaison between the project team and the client.
• Take part in client meetings, including fact-finding interviews and presentations.
• Ensure consistent standards of delivery excellence are in place.
• Understand talent management trends, pay practices and policies for each client and the wider market.
• Support broad-based rewards projects covering job evaluation, salary structure design, sales incentive design and performance management.
• Research public filings to gather financial data and develop peer groups for analysing client data.
• Work independently with clients to respond to data requests and answer follow-up questions.
• Conduct general research using the internet and internal databases on client or prospective client business information, including acquisition history and performance.

Required profile

• Relevant HR consulting and/or corporate HR experience; broad-based rewards experience is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative research and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
