Lead Human Resources (HR) Manager, Indonesia

About the role

Marsh is looking for a senior HR leader to join its People Function team in Jakarta. The role is hybrid, requiring at least three days per week in the office, and will partner closely with business leaders to drive people and culture initiatives that support the company’s strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement people and culture programs aligned with business priorities, including employer branding and colleague value proposition.
• Partner with stakeholders on organizational design, change management and workforce planning, using metrics and analytics to guide decisions.
• Provide HR business partnering on talent planning, succession, performance management, learning, diversity & inclusion, and employee relations.
• Advise People Managers on engagement, performance improvement, compensation, benefits and compliance with Indonesia employment laws.
• Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to translate global priorities into local execution and strengthen HR processes and tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of HR generalist/business partnering experience in a multinational, preferably matrixed organization.
• Strong commercial acumen and proven track record supporting an evolving business.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills with ability to build credibility at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to coach People Managers throughout the employee life cycle.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with additional Asian languages a plus.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Indonesia employment law and financial services regulations.
• Proficiency in HR analytics and metrics to generate actionable insights.
