Accounting Staff

About the role

We are looking for an Accounting Staff to join our finance team at PT Krakatau Posco in Cilegon. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting activities, preparing accurate financial statements, and supporting internal controls to ensure compliance and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, adjustments and reconcile general‑ledger accounts.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing, manage fixed assets, intercompany transactions and AP/AR support.
• Prepare a full set of financial statements and accompanying notes in line with applicable standards.
• Support external and internal audit engagements.
• Maintain compliance with the ICFR framework, document key controls and assist in control testing.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Handle ad‑hoc tasks as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting and ICFR, preferably in a large‑scale manufacturing environment.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is a plus.
• Experience with external auditors and public accounting or corporate finance is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as SAP, Oracle or similar ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Familiarity with audit processes and control testing.
