Technician III – Repair & Maintenance Engineering

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Technician III to join its Engineering function in Indonesia. The role focuses on planning, designing, and executing maintenance programs for facilities and equipment, ensuring reliable operation and compliance with specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform hands‑on troubleshooting, repair, and preventive/corrective maintenance of mechanical, electrical and electronic systems.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, manuals and work instructions.
• Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments safely and accurately.
• Support equipment installation, modification and testing activities.
• Validate equipment performance after repairs and ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
• Participate in EQE activities to support shift operations.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electronics or Mechatronics engineering (preferred).
• Good basic knowledge of automation and HPLC.
• Strong understanding of preventive maintenance concepts.
• Open to fresh graduates; 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Effective communication in Bahasa with basic English proficiency.
