Production Process Head

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Production Process Head to lead manufacturing activities for its eye‑care products in Indonesia. This role is part of Alcon’s Manufacturing function, responsible for designing, producing, and delivering innovative eye‑care solutions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the supervisor in overseeing team members and daily operations.
• Manage production activities—including assembly, material forming, processing, treating, and packaging—to meet specifications, schedules, volume, cost, waste, and quality targets.
• Liaise with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, Sales, and other departments to develop production schedules and allocate labor and capital resources.
• Plan, prioritize, and manage production line maintenance and downtime to minimise disruptions.
• Lead or participate in quality investigations and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Ensure a safe work environment and develop pipeline talent.
• Foster a culture of excellence through performance management, talent development, employee relations, and engagement.
• Make operational decisions that impact daily tasks, team performance, and efficiency.
• Adhere to GxP regulations, SOPs, documentation standards, quality control, and required training.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering.
• Fluency in English.
• Basic computer skills.
