Social Accountability Coordinator – PHINLA Project

About the role

The Social Accountability Coordinator will support the PHINLA Phase 2 project, which aims to scale sustainable waste‑management systems and strengthen livelihoods in the Philippines, Indonesia and Sri Lanka. Working with World Vision Indonesia and the local partner Divers Clean Action, you will ensure that community voices are integrated into project design and advocacy.

Key responsibilities

• Design, monitor and evaluate the Citizen Voice and Action (CVA) component of the project.
• Facilitate public participation dialogues with institutional stakeholders.
• Develop and implement a social‑accountability strategy aligned with the project design.
• Lead advocacy activities to influence government and partner priorities on waste‑management policies.
• Collect and analyse evidence to inform policy improvements.
• Review and optimise costs of social‑accountability interventions.
• Provide technical support and capacity‑building to communities and partners.

Required profile

• Strong experience in designing and evaluating community‑engagement processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead advocacy and policy‑influence initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills for facilitating multi‑stakeholder dialogues.
• Ability to work collaboratively with international donors, NGOs and government bodies.
