Health, Safety & Environment Manager

About the role

Alcon is seeking a proactive Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager to lead the development and execution of comprehensive HSE programs at its Indonesian site. The role ensures a safe workplace, protects employee health, and minimizes environmental impact while fostering positive relationships with the local community and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain health, safety, occupational and environmental programs to prevent injuries, illnesses and environmental incidents.
• Conduct inspections and investigations of workplace and environmental incidents, applying corrective actions in line with company procedures.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations and industry standards related to HSE.
• Identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous HSE performance enhancements.
• Develop, coordinate and deliver training plans for employee health, safety and environmental awareness.
• Maintain effective communication and relationships with community groups, environmental organizations and other external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing health, safety and environmental programs in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of relevant HSE regulations, GxP requirements and standard operating procedures.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and capacity to lead corrective actions.
• Effective communication skills for internal teams and external partners.
