Senior Manager - Deals Advisory - Business Recovery Services

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Manager for its Deals Advisory – Business Recovery Services team in Jakarta. The role focuses on helping clients navigate financial distress, restructure operations and maximise value from complex transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice and practical solutions to clients facing financial distress or restructuring challenges.
• Lead and coach multidisciplinary teams through ambiguous and high‑pressure situations.
• Develop and present clear, holistic narratives that align with client objectives and PwC standards.
• Validate outcomes with clients, incorporate feedback and ensure delivery of high‑quality results.
• Maintain professional and technical standards, including compliance with PwC’s code of conduct and independence requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in a major financial advisory firm, corporate/investment bank, or private equity.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, accounting or an MBA from an overseas university with at least a 3.0 GPA.
• Professional qualifications such as CFA, CPA or equivalent are a plus.
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, communication and negotiation abilities, with a collaborative team‑player attitude.
