Senior Investment Risk

About the role

The Senior Investment Risk Officer is a member of the Risk Management team at PT Manulife Aset Manajemen Indonesia, reporting to the Head of Risk Management. The role is also part of the Asia Investment Risk Oversight team under Manulife's Global Wealth & Asset Management, and works with local and regional stakeholders to support independent risk oversight of investment risks arising from funds and mandates managed or manufactured on the local platform.

• Regulatory compliance and industry standards
• Other duties as assigned based on company needs

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or a related discipline
• 6-10 years' experience in investment risk, asset management, insurance, banking or financial services is preferred
• Strong communication and influencing skills with stakeholders to strengthen committee reporting, risk awareness and culture
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, able to interpret complex data and give actionable insights

Preferred qualifications

• Understanding of investment risk frameworks for market, credit and counterparty, liquidity and concentration risk
• Experience with investment risk systems such as Bloomberg, Aladdin or MSCI
• Portfolio risk monitoring, stress testing, risk-return assessment and exposure analysis
• Knowledge of Indonesia capital markets, products and liquidity dynamics
• Exposure to data analytics, automation or AI tools for risk monitoring
• CFA, FRM, PRM or CAIA certification progress or completion

Working arrangement is hybrid.
