About the role
The Production Manager will lead plant operations, ensuring efficient production, safety, and compliance with EHSQ standards. This permanent, onsite role is based in Jakarta for BASF Indonesia.
Key responsibilities
- Steer, plan and coordinate production, including shift and day‑shift personnel management.
- Manage supply chain, ensure equipment availability, and implement production targets.
- Maintain EHSQ compliance, occupational safety, and risk assessments.
- Investigate SHE incidents and drive preventive measures.
- Oversee product quality, in‑process analytics, and root‑cause analysis.
- Define and monitor production‑related KPIs such as customer satisfaction and safety performance.
Required profile
- Minimum 8 years of experience in chemical manufacturing and process management.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering.
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict‑resolution abilities.
- Self‑starter attitude with a proven track record of driving improvements.
Required skills
- EHS, costing, process and operational expertise.
- Production planning and supply management.
