About the role
ABB is seeking a Project Manager to lead small, low‑complexity projects within the Automation Process Industries division in Indonesia. You will ensure project activities comply with procedures, regulations, standards, and targets while driving successful delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the allocated project team and manage day‑to‑day execution.
- Monitor and control project progress, resource utilization, and financial performance.
- Identify, qualify, quantify, and manage project risks and opportunities.
- Drive formal project acceptance, contract close‑out, and customer acknowledgment.
Required profile
- Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- 8–10 years of experience as a Project Manager or similar role in relevant fields.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
- Proven delivery of automation/electrical projects, preferably in pulp & paper or mining in Southeast Asia.
- Willingness to travel and a strong safety commitment.
Required skills
- Project financial management, cash flow, and contract handling.
- Project scheduling techniques and risk management.
- Proficiency with MS Project.
