Laundry Attendant – PTAMI (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team at HAL’s PTAMI location. The role involves handling guest and crew laundry, ensuring items are clean, pressed and properly sorted while maintaining a safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Mark, sort and load guest and crew personal laundry into washers and dryers.
• Fold, press and organize clean linens, towels and personal items.
• Identify and separate damaged items, reporting them to the supervisor.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance such as cleaning press heads, removing lint and lubricating wet‑cleaning machines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, especially before breaks.
• Follow health, safety and environmental procedures and uphold company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or higher.
• At least 6 months experience in hotel or commercial laundry.
• Age 21‑35, minimum height 160 cm and physically fit for the duties.
• Ability to read, write and understand English and pass the Marlin test (minimum score 60).

Required skills

• Laundry equipment operation (washers, dryers, flatwork ironer).
• Basic equipment maintenance (press heads cleaning, lint removal, lubrication).
