Freelance Full-Stack Developer (Python & JavaScript)

About the role

Hire Digital is looking for a freelance full-stack developer with experience in both Python and JavaScript to build web applications, backend services and integrations. The work covers the whole development lifecycle, from requirements and implementation to testing, deployment and support.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services using Python and JavaScript.
• Develop APIs and application features with Django and/or Node.js.
• Create responsive interfaces with React, Next.js, Astro or similar frameworks.
• Integrate databases, third-party APIs and authentication services.
• Deploy and support applications on AWS.
• Collaborate through Git, code reviews and clear technical documentation.
• Test, troubleshoot and improve application performance and security.

Required profile

• Demonstrated full-stack development experience with Python and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with Django and/or Node.js.
• Experience with React, Next.js or Astro.
• Working knowledge of Git and AWS, including deployment and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of secure coding, authentication, authorization and testing.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently remotely.

Required skills

• REST APIs and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Plus: TypeScript, Docker, CI/CD, serverless services and AI coding tools such as Claude Code.
