Student Advisor (Tarutung)

About the role

Ruangguru is seeking a motivated Student Advisor to join its team in Tarutung. You will act as a bridge between learners and the academic team, ensuring students receive the guidance and support they need to succeed.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor student learning progress and relay relevant information to the Academic Team, following up as required.
• Build strong relationships with students by providing motivation, mentorship, and consistent support throughout their learning journey.
• Assist prospective students by delivering accurate information that facilitates the sales process.
• Offer guidance, feedback, and solutions to help students meet their learning targets.
• Achieve targets for presentations, student engagement, and sales in line with company objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma (D3) in any field.
• 1–2 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, customer success, business operations, or a related area.
• Experience in the education sector, English language courses, or a startup is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer‑service orientation.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Own a smartphone and laptop.
• Target‑driven, proactive, and capable of working both independently and within a team.
