Korean Language Instructor

About the role

The Korean Language Instructor will deliver comprehensive Korean language training aligned with the LPK curriculum. The role involves preparing students for the EPS‑TOPIK exam and equipping them with cultural and workplace skills for opportunities in South Korea.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Korean speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar and pronunciation.
• Develop lesson plans, learning materials and assessments.
• Guide students in preparing for the EPS‑TOPIK examination.
• Monitor, assess and evaluate student progress.
• Provide coaching and mentoring for employment opportunities in South Korea.
• Teach Korean culture, workplace etiquette and communication practices.
• Maintain student records and learning databases.
• Continuously improve training materials and teaching methods.
• Prepare training reports and student performance evaluations.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Korean; TOPIK II Level 3 or 4 preferred.
• Teaching certification is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma (D3) in Korean language, Korean studies, education or related field.
• Previous experience teaching Korean language.
• Experience living, studying or working in South Korea is a plus.
• Familiarity with the EPS‑TOPIK examination system.
• Strong understanding of Korean culture and workplace practices.
• Excellent communication, mentoring and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, disciplined and passionate about teaching.
