Kaigo Caregiver Instructor

About the role

The Kaigo Caregiver Instructor will lead Kaigo (elderly care) training programs following the LPK curriculum, preparing students for caregiving positions in Japan. The role combines classroom teaching with hands‑on practical sessions to ensure competence in safety, hygiene, and patient handling.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver both theoretical and practical Kaigo training covering caregiving techniques, safety procedures, and hygiene standards.
• Educate students on Japanese work ethics, cultural norms, and communication practices.
• Monitor, assess, and evaluate student performance, providing feedback and coaching to achieve competency.
• Develop and continuously improve training materials, lesson plans, and teaching methods.
• Prepare training reports and document student progress for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma (D3) in Nursing or a related healthcare field.
• Prior experience (minimum 2 years) in elderly care (Kaigo) services.
• Familiarity with Japanese elderly‑care standards and workplace culture; former EPA, TITP, or SSW experience in Japan is a plus.
• Ability to conduct classroom instruction and practical training sessions effectively.
• Strong communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills, with a disciplined and patient attitude.
