Senior Associate - Financial Services Assurance

About the role

PwC is hiring a Senior Associate in its Assurance line of service, focused on Financial Services, based in Jakarta. The role sits at the Senior Associate management level and involves audit and assurance work such as reviewing financial statements, internal controls and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide independent, objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls and other assurable information, helping stakeholders understand their credibility and reliability.
• Evaluate compliance with regulations, including governance and risk management processes and related controls.
• In financial statement audits, obtain reasonable assurance that the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and issue an auditor's report with the auditor's opinion.
• Build meaningful client relationships, learn to manage and inspire others, and anticipate the needs of teams and clients.
• Deliver quality work while navigating complex and ambiguous situations, and uphold professional and technical standards, the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 3 to 5 years of working experience in a public accounting firm (external audit).
• Excellent English language skills.
• Team player with strong interpersonal, communication and project management skills.
• Able to solve problems, prioritise and handle multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
• Enjoys a collaborative environment; professional certification such as CPA is an advantage.
