QA Engineer - KVN Team

About the role

Kredivo is hiring a Quality Assurance Engineering SDE 2 in its Jakarta office. The role reports to the QA lead and focuses on ensuring product quality through test planning, execution and continuous improvement of QA processes, while working closely with cross-functional teams to reduce risks, improve test coverage and enable faster, more reliable releases.

Key responsibilities

• Work with product, design and engineering teams to understand requirements and design and run test plans with full ownership
• Review PRDs and engineering designs and give constructive feedback before the implementation starts
• Plan releases, including dependencies and backward compatibility
• Work with DevOps on planning, executing and verifying releases and measuring their impact
• Reproduce production bugs on staging and help troubleshoot and fix them quickly
• Help define, drive and implement QA best practices and processes

Required profile

• 3+ years of manual and automated testing of web services and mobile applications
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and computer science fundamentals
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication skills, attention to detail and ability to work well in a team

Required skills

• MySQL
• Writing automation suites at intermediate level in any language
• HTTP, Web Services, OAuth and RESTful APIs
• Jenkins and Git
• Ability to read and understand Jenkins automation scripts
