Cybersecurity Assurance Manager & Senior Manager

About the role

PwC's Cyber Security practice, within Risk Assurance, helps business leaders protect and manage risks related to information about technology, people, systems, processes, culture and physical surroundings. The role covers governance, assessment, design and implementation of cybersecurity controls, and advises clients on regulatory and data privacy issues. It is open to both Senior Managers and Managers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform assessments, design and implement cybersecurity controls using standards such as NIST, ISO 27000, PCI-DSS, COBIT, CIS, and assess web apps, infrastructure, cloud, mobile apps, red teaming, incident response, threat hunting and OT security (energy, mining, utilities, oil and gas)
• Advise clients and train, coach and upskill team members
• Lead business development, marketing, proposal preparation and pursuit of IT security projects
• Work with clients on solutions, execute engagements and build client relationships
• Prepare reports and documents using MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and give timely feedback to the group

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, preferably Information Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or another IT-related degree
• Experience: Senior Manager needs 10-15 years as a Cyber Security Risk Assurance lead in consulting; Manager needs 7-10 years as a Cyber Security Risk Assurance and/or system implementor
• Relevant experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure security or data protection, identity and access management
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISA, CCSP, GIAC are preferred but not mandatory

• Strong written and oral communication, including technical and business writing and presentations to technical and non-technical audiences
