Logistics & Operations Lead – Import & Refurbishment

About the role

Paytm is seeking a proactive Logistics & Operations Lead to manage end‑to‑end import logistics from India to Indonesia, ensure customs compliance, and oversee warehouse operations. The role will later expand to include ownership of the Soundbox refurbishment process.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage import shipments (air and sea) from India and other countries, liaising with freight forwarders, shipping lines and customs brokers.
• Prepare, verify and maintain all import documentation, ensuring compliance with Indonesian regulations and handling duty payments.
• Oversee receipt, inspection, storage and inventory management at the local warehouse, conducting regular stock audits.
• Establish and lead a structured refurbishment process for returned or faulty Soundbox devices, defining SOPs, quality benchmarks and performance tracking.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• 5‑8 years of logistics, import operations or supply chain experience in Indonesia, with hands‑on knowledge of Indonesian customs procedures and the INSW portal.
• Experience with cross‑border shipments, preferably India‑Indonesia, and exposure to electronics or fintech hardware.
• Familiarity with refurbishment, reverse logistics or after‑sales operations is a plus.
