IT Business Analyst – Contract Role

About the role

The IT Business Analyst will act as the bridge between business users and development teams, ensuring that user requests are captured, analysed, and turned into clear technical specifications. This contract position involves preparing documentation, supporting testing, and guiding users through deployment while leveraging AI‑powered tools to boost productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document detailed business and user requirements.
• Translate requirements into system and functional specifications (BRD, FSD).
• Prepare UAT plans, scenarios, and test cases; support users during UAT, training, and deployment.
• Identify and analyse application/system issues and recommend improvements.
• Provide troubleshooting and production support, coordinating with technical teams for timely resolution.
• Ensure proper system implementation and operational readiness through training and guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with business users, developers, QA, project managers, and other stakeholders.
• Utilise AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and Gemini to enhance requirements analysis, documentation, and test case creation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, BRD, FSD, UAT, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Experience in the IT, digital business, or telecommunications/VAS industry is a plus.
