Handover & GSA Technician

About the role

The Handover & GSA Technician supports the Service Operations Manager and Technical Support Manager in ensuring quality standards across field and service operations. This role involves identifying improvement opportunities, conducting inspections and audits, and performing hands‑on service activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare inspection plans and procedures, communicate them and ensure implementation by guiding operators.
• Perform sample tests and process audits, guaranteeing the measurement system is correctly applied.
• Create and maintain reports on quality measurements, inspection results, and equipment calibration.
• Communicate audit outcomes to stakeholders such as Quality Manager, Installation Supervisor, and Project Manager.
• Raise containment actions, identify best practices, conduct root‑cause analysis and propose corrective actions.
• Engage and train operatives at installation and maintenance sites.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the industry.
• Problem‑solving ability, can work with minimal supervision, multitask under pressure, and maintain a strong safety and sustainability focus.
• Customer‑service mindset with good teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.
