Azure Cloud Solutions Architect

About the role

The Azure Cloud Architect supports cloud solution design, pre-sales activities and hands-on delivery under the guidance of a senior architect. The role needs strong Azure technical fundamentals, the ability to take part in client discussions and active involvement in implementation projects. It suits someone who enjoys solving interesting client challenges in a flexible way.

Key responsibilities

• Pre-sales and solution architecture: support cloud architecture design for proposals and client requests, assist with solution documentation, diagrams, cost estimates and technical clarifications, and take part in technical presentations and client workshops.
• Governance, security and operations: implement Azure governance controls (RBAC, policies, tagging), support monitoring, backup and operational readiness, and ensure designs meet security and compliance requirements.
• Documentation and collaboration: produce architecture diagrams, high-level and low-level design documents and SOPs, and work with infrastructure, DevOps, application and security teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud engineering or solution design roles.
• Experience in project delivery or implementation teams.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers.
• Exposure to pre-sales or proposal support activities.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with Azure core services (networking, identity, compute, storage, monitoring).
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture principles (availability, disaster recovery, scale, security).
