CAD Drafter – Onsite (Indonesia)

About the role

CAD Drafter is responsible for following work instructions from senior staff to create and inspect drawings that meet client requirements and ensure design quality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete drawing construction according to instructions from senior CAD drafter, project manager, estimating manager or engineering, meeting quality standards and deadlines.
• Create drawings from engineer‑provided sketches, collaborate with engineers and verify that the final drawings satisfy client needs.
• Visit sites to confirm drawing completeness that may not be evident on layout plans.
• Re‑create and compare drawings to verify changes before and after project phases.
• Inspect and maintain work equipment, including paper and ink supplies, required for drafting tasks.
• Prepare and store documentation related to drawing work and generate progress reports.
• Perform any other reasonable duties as directed by senior staff within the drafter’s skill set.

Required profile

• Minimum diploma (or equivalent) qualification.
• At least five years of experience as a CAD drafter, preferably with on‑site exposure.
• Willingness to work on site in Indonesia and support head office when needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, with experience in AutoCAD Plant 3D considered an advantage.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret technical drawings according to client specifications.
