Business Development Officer (Higher Education Partnerships)

About the role

AECC, an education and migration agency active in 15 countries, is looking for a Business Development Officer to join its team in Indonesia. The role focuses on expanding the network of partnerships and driving growth through strategic collaborations, university agreements and articulation programs.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and target potential partner institutions, including universities, colleges and educational organisations.
• Build relationships with university officials, academic departments and faculty, and negotiate partnership agreements.
• Work with internal teams to design programs, articulation pathways and joint initiatives.
• Carry out market research on trends, competitors and opportunities in higher education.
• Take part in conferences, fairs and networking events to generate leads.
• Prepare and present proposals and partnership agreements to prospective partners.
• Coordinate with admissions, marketing and academic departments, and monitor partnership progress and report to management.
• Keep up with accreditation standards and higher education policy changes, and help the marketing team create promotional materials and campaigns.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education or a related field.
• Proven experience in business development, partnership management or sales, preferably in higher education.
• Strong knowledge of articulation agreements, credit transfer policies and international collaboration.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
