Backend Java Quarkus Developer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Backend Java Quarkus Developer to join our IT team in South Jakarta. You will be responsible for building high‑performance, secure, and scalable backend services that power our business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java and the Quarkus framework.
• Create and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices‑based architectures.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, product managers, business analysts, and DevOps engineers to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code following best practices.
• Develop and fine‑tune database queries, stored procedures, and data models for PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Integrate backend services with internal and external systems via APIs.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues promptly.
• Perform unit, integration testing and participate in code reviews to ensure software quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a backend developer using Java and Quarkus.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming and microservices architecture.
