Backend Developer (Java, Quarkus/Spring Boot)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to design and implement Java‑based applications that support our financial services platforms. You will work closely with product owners and other engineers to translate business needs into robust, high‑quality software.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using Quarkus or Spring Boot.
• Analyze user requirements and define clear application objectives.
• Align application architecture with business goals and ensure scalability.
• Maintain high code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and peer code reviews.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and performance issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience as a Java developer.
• Hands‑on experience with Quarkus or Spring Boot frameworks.
• Solid understanding of microservice architecture.
• Experience leading or collaborating with a team using Agile principles.
• Familiarity with the financial services industry is a plus.
• Willingness to work on‑site (WFO).
