Assistant Manager, Technology, Asia Pacific

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Technology will support the implementation of formulation technology transfers across owned sites and contract manufacturers in the Asia Pacific region. The role acts as a technical subject‑matter expert, ensuring reliable processes, quality compliance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate formulation technology transfer to owned sites and contract manufacturers, collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis for formulation, filling and packaging (FFP) issues.
• Develop and update the Formulation Manufacturing Manual and ensure consistency with global quality standards.
• Lead Management of Change (MOC) processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support senior technology manager on FFP capital investment and operational excellence projects.
• Assist in aligning APA Formulants strategy with global teams and implement risk‑management and cost‑optimization actions.

Required profile

• Experience in pharmaceutical formulation, technology transfer, or related manufacturing environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to conduct root‑cause investigations.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with site managers, contract manufacturers and global teams.
