Production Engineering Internship

About the role

Philips is seeking a Production Engineering Intern to support its production operations and improvement projects. You will work alongside experienced engineers, gaining hands‑on experience in a global health‑technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the design and implementation of production processes.
• Conduct process‑optimization experiments to improve quality, efficiency and yield.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives and cost‑reduction projects.
• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations on project progress and results.
• Adhere to company safety standards and promote a culture of safety.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, D3 or D4 in Electrical, Mechanical, Robotics or Information Engineering.
• Eager to learn Industry 4.0 technologies and their manufacturing applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented and organized.
