Associate 1 – Assurance (CMAAS)

About the role

PwC’s Capital Markets Accounting Advisory Services (CMAAS) team in Jakarta is seeking an Associate 1 to support assurance engagements. You will work on a variety of banking and finance transactions, providing technical accounting and reporting advice to both public and private clients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver strategic guidance on technical accounting, financial reporting, transaction structures and capital‑markets topics for complex deals.
• Advise clients on accounting advisory and financial reporting issues arising from mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, carve‑outs and other transformational events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 1‑2 years of experience in a public accounting firm or consulting environment.
• Strong interest in staying current with IFRS and Indonesian GAAP, and a passion for technical accounting research and analysis.

Required skills

• Accounting advisory, financial reporting, IFRS, Indonesian GAAP, GAAP financial reporting.
• Alteryx (automation), financial modeling, benchmarking, capital‑markets transactions, carve‑out financial statements, debt and equity raising.
