Junior Process Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Process Engineer to join our team in Jakarta. You will support process design, simulation and engineering calculations across multiple projects, contributing to safe and efficient plant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize simulation software such as HYSYS to develop heat and material balances and create PFDs and P&IDs.
• Perform hydraulic calculations, piping design, utility requirement assessments and equipment sizing for pumps, vessels and heat exchangers.
• Generate process datasheets for equipment and instruments, including control valves, and maintain technical documentation.
• Assist with feasibility studies, conceptual design, detailed engineering and review vendor submissions for compliance.
• Contribute to safety studies such as HAZOP/HAZID and ensure designs meet safety, environmental and company standards.
• Provide troubleshooting and field support during commissioning and start‑up phases.
• Support business development activities, including pre‑sales and proposal preparation, when required.
• Perform project control, document control and sustainable energy tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Junior level candidate ready to work on engineering projects.
