Server Storage Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Server Storage Support Engineer to manage and maintain our server, storage and hyper‑converged infrastructure. The role involves daily operations, monitoring, troubleshooting and coordination with cross‑functional teams to ensure high availability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform health checks, monitoring, capacity management and housekeeping of server, storage and HCI environments.
• Troubleshoot L2 incidents such as host down, datastore issues, storage latency, VM performance degradation, cluster warnings and hardware faults, meeting SLA targets.
• Provision virtual machines, manage snapshots, administer datastores and allocate CPU/RAM resources.
• Handle volume/LUN provisioning, performance monitoring, firmware updates and coordinate hardware replacements (RMA).
• Execute routine changes, conduct basic root‑cause analysis for recurring issues and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with application, database, network and security teams and escalate complex problems to L3 when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of L2 experience in server, virtualization, storage or HCI within an enterprise environment.
• Hands‑on experience with virtualization platform operations, including VM, host, cluster and datastore management.
• Proven ability to monitor infrastructure, handle incidents, ensure SLA compliance and produce clear documentation.
