Middle Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Middle Software Engineer to design, develop, test and maintain web, mobile and backend applications that support banking operations and digital channels. The role involves building secure APIs, integrating with core banking and third‑party services, and ensuring compliance with data security and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web, mobile, and backend applications for banking operations.
• Develop secure and efficient APIs and integrate systems with core banking, third‑party, and internal services.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver functional, user‑friendly solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Ensure software solutions comply with data security, regulatory, and banking governance standards.
• Support production systems and provide technical expertise for ongoing improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any major with experience in the IT field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a programmer or equivalent in a similar industry.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Familiarity with general banking processes or banking IT experience.
• Willingness to work onsite in Central Jakarta.

Required skills

• Programming languages: Java, Kotlin, Python, Golang, C# (ASP.NET), JavaScript/TypeScript, PHP, Swift, Objective‑C.
• Frameworks: Spring Boot, RestEasy, React, Angular, NextJS/NuxtJS, Vue.js, Flutter.
• Databases: MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, DB2, NoSQL.
• Messaging/streaming: Apache Kafka or similar platforms.
• Experience with API standards such as RESTful API and ISO8583.
