Sales Representative – Automotive Aftermarket

About the role

3M is seeking a Sales Representative for its Automotive Aftermarket Division in Indonesia. The role focuses on driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, and expanding market coverage across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales plans to meet revenue, margin, and market‑share targets.
• Manage and grow relationships with end users, dealers, workshops, body shops, and other key accounts.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand customer coverage in the automotive aftermarket and auto‑refinish segments.
• Provide product recommendations, technical support, demonstrations, and training to customers and channel partners.
• Collaborate with channel partners to improve sales performance, product availability, and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
• Support promotional activities, trade events, product launches, and customer engagement programs.
• Prepare sales forecasts, activity reports, account plans, and market feedback for management.
• Work with internal teams (marketing, technical service, supply chain, customer service) to ensure an excellent customer experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven sales experience in the automotive aftermarket, auto‑refinish, automotive parts, coatings, abrasives, tools or related industries.
• Experience working with both end users and channel partners.
• Strong understanding of the Indonesian automotive aftermarket landscape.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout Indonesia as required.
