Risk Assurance Manager – IT Cybersecurity

About the role

PwC is seeking a seasoned cybersecurity professional to join its Risk Assurance practice as a Manager. You will help organisations protect their information assets by delivering comprehensive security solutions and guiding them through governance, risk and compliance challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end cybersecurity assessments, design and implementation projects for client environments.
• Develop and apply security governance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27000, PCI‑DSS, COBIT and CIS.
• Own project planning, budgeting, execution and delivery while ensuring quality and timelines.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members, leveraging their unique strengths.
• Engage with senior client stakeholders to discuss risk findings, recommend remediation and address regulatory or data‑privacy issues.
• Uphold PwC professional standards, code of conduct and independence requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cybersecurity consulting or advisory roles.
• Demonstrated managerial experience with the ability to lead and inspire teams.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Business acumen to identify opportunities that add value to the firm.
• Commitment to integrity, authenticity and PwC’s purpose.

Required skills

• Knowledge of NIST cybersecurity framework.
• Familiarity with ISO 27000 family of standards.
• Experience with PCI‑DSS compliance.
• Understanding of COBIT governance principles.
• Application of CIS controls for security hardening.
