Regional Safety & Security Manager

About the role

The Regional Safety & Security Manager leads Greenpeace Southeast Asia’s safety, security and duty‑of‑care agenda, developing systems and policies that enable safe campaigning and programme delivery across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve the regional safety, security, risk‑management and duty‑of‑care framework.
• Provide strategic security advice, political and contextual analysis, and practical guidance to management and project teams.
• Design and coordinate security training, staff induction, reporting systems and monitoring tools.
• Manage the regional security function, budgets, external providers and documentation.
• Collaborate with senior management, legal, HR and operations to integrate security into organisational processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Security Management, Risk Management, International Relations or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in security management, risk analysis, crisis or field security.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience, preferably in a non‑profit or international organisation.
• Strong understanding of security and contextual risks in Southeast Asia.
