Regional Salesforce Developer / Technical Lead

About the role

PwC's South East Asia Consulting practice is looking for an experienced Regional Salesforce Developer / Technical Lead in Jakarta to lead the design and delivery of enterprise Salesforce solutions for client engagements. The role combines technical expertise with delivery management, mentoring a development team and acting as the trusted technical point of contact for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of Salesforce solutions in line with the agreed technical architecture, turning business and functional requirements into detailed designs.
• Work with the Technical Architect and Functional Lead so designs follow Salesforce best practices, proposing alternatives where appropriate.
• Act as the main day-to-day technical liaison with client technical stakeholders, communicating design decisions, risks and trade-offs.
• Manage the development cadence: assign work, set expectations, review deliverables and give hands-on mentorship.
• Oversee workload, timelines and quality, escalating critical design changes or delivery issues to the Technical Architect and engagement leadership.
• Take part in Agile ceremonies and contribute to planning, design, coding and review.
• Ensure compliance with release management, code quality, automated testing and deployment practices.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on Salesforce development, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Proven experience designing, building and deploying Salesforce applications, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, declarative configuration, integrations (APIs), data migration and security.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, customization best practices and deployment processes (CI/CD, source control, managed/unmanaged packages).
• Ability to lead and mentor technical teams, manage competing priorities and resolve complex issues.
• Comfortable in multicultural teams and client-facing roles; flexible to work onsite and/or hybrid.
• Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, Administrator or Architect-related) or equivalent; prior consulting experience on enterprise CRM programs is desirable.
