Senior Manager, Project Delivery Lead - Microsoft Solutions

About the role

Avanade, a global technology consulting firm, is looking for an experienced Project Delivery Lead in Jakarta to lead large-scale Microsoft opportunities (Azure, Dynamics ERP/CRM, Power Platform and similar) implementations across Southeast Asia. The role drives end-to-end delivery of complex fixed-price engagements on time and within budget, manages client relationships up to board level, and applies AI proficiency where applicable to modernise delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver technology project implementations across multiple countries within a regional delivery model.
• Interpret and manage contractual obligations, keeping scope, commercial terms and client expectations aligned.
• Work in consulting and solution implementation environments, adapting delivery to each client's needs.
• Engage with CXOs and senior business stakeholders, handle escalations and build long-term client trust.
• Apply technical knowledge of Microsoft platforms such as Dynamics 365 ERP/CRM or equivalent to guide delivery teams, contribute to architecture and integration discussions and drive solution decisions.
• Lead cross-functional teams, resolve conflicts and maintain delivery momentum under pressure.
• Manage commercially sensitive fixed-price projects end-to-end, covering scope and change management, project planning and scheduling, financial tracking, risk mitigation and quality.
• Leverage AI capabilities within the software development life cycle where applicable, and foster a customer-centric culture while mentoring teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a business or technology-related field (advantageous).
• 12+ years of total work experience.
• Experience implementing technology projects across a regional scope of more than 3-5 countries.
• Deep understanding of contract terms and strong customer expectation management.
• Experience in consulting or solution implementation environments and with CXO-level engagement.
• Proven experience independently managing large, complex projects, preferably ERP/CRM implementations, including fixed-price projects.

Required skills

• Technical depth in Microsoft platforms, preferably Dynamics 365 ERP/CRM, Power Platform or equivalent.
• Strong governance of scope, project planning, financial control, risk management and delivery execution.
• Ability to lead and mentor teams in high-pressure, unstructured environments.
• Understanding of Southeast Asian regional nuances and client expectations.
